instructions

Saute 1/2 cup minced onion in 1/4 cup butter to golden. Add 1+ lb. ground beed and brown lightly. Mix and add 2 tablespoons flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 1/4 teaspoon paprika and cook 5 minutes. Add 1 can cream of mushroom soup, mix, let cook 10 more min on low flame stirring constantly. Add 1/2 pint sour cream, mix slightly, let it simmer about 20 min, stirring occasionally. Add mushrooms if desired. Serve over noodles, rice, or toast. Freezes beautifully.
