Sloppy Joes

These were a big hit at Polly and a recent Packer game party. I initially made them with a combo of ground beef and elk that G'ma was given. Yum! Realizing that not everyone can buy elk, I made them again with a combo of ground beef and pork (or pork sausage is nice too--not the Italian kind though). Also instead of using a whole cup of ketchup, I mixed a smaller amount with steak sauce or bbq sauce to make a cup--making the sauce a little less tomatoey. You can experiment with that.
