This recipe uses what seems like a lot of oil. I've toyed with the idea of trying it with reduced oil, but every time I bake and serve it, people love it! So...maybe not mess with a good thing...

mom's notes

This recipe is from my youth when I first started getting interested in cooking and baking. I got the recipe from one of my regular babysitting clients, Kay Bizjak. She had two little boys I babysat for years. She would always leave me some goody to eat when I took care of her kids. Hence, I always wanted to babysit for her. Plus, she paid well. Ha ha. Let that be a lesson to you parents of young children types.
